Today, I’m grateful for the amount of information available to me.
Yesterday evening, I was walking to the library, listening to the Star Talk Radio Show podcast with Neil deGrasse Tyson on my iPhone, and I was struck by the amazing fact that I live in a time in history when more information is available to individuals than ever before.
Even just a few hundred years ago, it would have been unheard of for a commoner like me to be traveling to a place where I could borrow books.
And only 20 years ago, would you have believed that we could own a personal device that literally has the knowledge of the world at our fingertips?
Along with the amount of information, though, comes a great responsibility. The responsibility to think, to separate the wheat from the chaff. We no longer have the luxury of ignorance as an excuse in many things – not when we can verify our sources with the click of a mouse.
It’s just plain amazing.
Today, I’m grateful for the amount of information available to me.

I often take this for granted. Thank you for the post, honey. It was a great reminder!
