A while back, my friend Aaron Potts let me know about Evernote, a high powered alternative to Google Notebook. I used it for a while, but never made the full switch… I was just too used to Google’s product, and didn’t really like the integration.
Well, that’s changed. Since I’ve started using Firefox 3, Google Notebook’s integration just hasn’t been as smooth. I understand that the third version of the Fox isn’t quite ready for prime time, but it was worth switching early because of the massive improvements in memory management and speed. So I thought I’d give Evernote another try.
The improvements that they’ve made are amazing. It is still in a closed beta, and there’s a message that it doesn’t yet support Firefox 3, but I’ve yet to experience any problems with it. The browser plugin doesn’t work yet, but that’s solved by using their Universal Clipper in it’s place.
If you’re interested in trying out Evernote, I’ve got 20 invites available. Just leave a comment on this post, and use a working email address. I’ll get the invite out to you ASAP.

Hi Lyman
I would love to try Evernote. I have added LymanReed.com to my blogroll.
Thanks, Tom
I’ve sent your invite, Tom. Enjoy!
I too used Google Notebook. I have also used the similar feature of clipping pages in iscrybe but found it lacking. If you had a spare invite I’d be really grateful.
thanks
It’s on the way, Michael. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
