From what I’ve heard about Purple Cow, Seth Godin talks about making your business remarkable in order to get attention.
If you saw a purple cow, wouldn’t you tell people about it?
The free giveaway blowout is an old staple of Internet Marketing - basically, one marketer collects a bunch of freebies from other marketers, puts them all in one place, and the list building frenzy begins.
Santa Sal took this concept and made it really enjoyable. The frickin’ videos are, well, fu-ged-abou-dit, hilarious! 
Oh yeah, and there’s some free ebooks and marketing tools, too.
Of course, you’ve only got until December 31rst to get them all (another marketing staple - a sense of urgency.)
